Previously, as reported, several gas companies operating in Quang Binh province submitted a complaint to Market Management Team (QLTT) No. 3 – Quang Binh QLTT Department, stating that after investigation, it was determined that gas cylinders with the brand names GAZ DAT VIET, Petro Miền Trung (PM Gas), Miền Trung Petro (Sư Lý), Petrovietnam, Dầu Khí, Việt Thái Gas, Hà Tĩnh Petrol, etc. were being held at the gas filling station of Quang Binh Petroleum Company Limited, headquartered in the Western Quang Trach Industrial Zone, Quang Trach, Quang Binh.

QLTT Team No. 3 has conducted an inspection at the Filling Station of Quang Binh Petroleum Company Limited. According to the inventory, on March 5, Quang Binh Petroleum Company Limited sent an official notice stating that the number of Dat Viet brand gas cylinders at their filling station was over 5,000. Of which, there were 5,059 12kg gas cylinders and 1 45kg gas cylinder. In addition, there were over 2,000 gas cylinders from other companies such as: Petro Miền Trung (PM Gas), Miền Trung Petro (Sư Lý), Petrovietnam, Dầu Khí, etc.
While the case had not yet been resolved, on March 29, sales staff from the aforementioned gas brands discovered a large number of gas cylinders at a private home in Van Ha Hamlet, Quang Tien Commune, Quang Trach District.
At this location, the homeowner called many “thugs” to threaten the sales staff of the gas brands. The Quang Trach District Police arrived in a timely manner to maintain peace and order and brought over 1,000 gas cylinders to the headquarters for resolution.
On April 3, staff from the aforementioned gas brands continued to discover over 1,200 gas cylinders hidden in the headquarters of the abandoned Traffic Department in Quang Chau Commune, Quang Trach District. The Quang Trach District Police seized them for investigation in accordance with legal regulations.

According to representatives of the gas brands whose cylinders were seized, Quang Binh Petroleum Company Limited is not a retail store or LPG cylinder dealer with a purchase contract with the brands GAZ DAT VIET, Petro Miền Trung (PM Gas), Miền Trung Petro (Sư Lý), Petrovietnam, Dầu Khí, Việt Thái Gas, Hà Tĩnh Petrol, etc. Therefore, this is an act of illegal seizure that must be dealt with seriously in order to protect legitimate gas brands operating in Quang Binh.
