A Southern Vietnam Real Estate Firm and Four Major Japanese Corporations to Develop a $1bn+ Township Covering Nearly 50 Hectares in Binh Duong

Kim Oanh Group, along with its foreign partners: Sumitomo Forestry Group, Kumagai Gumi Group, NTT Urban Development Corporation, and AEON Vietnam, will invest in the One World Urban Area project in Thuan An, Binh Duong.

On April 17th, The One World Project was newly granted an investment policy decision and approval by the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province to Kim Oanh Group and three partners from Japan: Sumitomo Forestry Group, Kumagai Gumi Group, and NTT Urban Development Corporation.

At the same time, Kim Oanh Group also signed a cooperation agreement for the development of a commercial center in The One World Urban Area project with AEON Vietnam Company (a member of the AEON Group in Japan). All 4 partners signing with Kim Oanh Group this time are leading corporations from Japan.

Expected 3D perspective of The One World Construction Investment Project

The One World Urban Area Project has a scale of nearly 50 hectares and a total investment capital of more than 1 billion USD. The project is located in the middle of the following key routes: Binh Duong Boulevard (National Highway 13), Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, and Ring Road 3, Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province.

Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Kim Oanh Group, said that the project is divided into 6 component projects. It is expected to build important utilities first, including a conference – exhibition center, AEON commercial center, 5-star hotel, international inter-level school, and to officially introduce products to the market right in 2025.

According to the signed agreement, the cooperation structure of the project will be divided in the following proportions: Kim Oanh Group holds 51% of shares; the three Japanese partners, Sumitomo Forestry, Kumagai Gumi, and NTT, hold 49% of shares. AEON Vietnam, in particular, will develop and operate a large-scale high-class commercial center right in The One World Urban Area.
