Specifically, Mr. Bui Hong Minh, Member of the Party Executive Committee and Deputy Minister of Construction, was appointed as Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development on a five-year term period.
Mr. Bui Hong Minh was born on October 17, 1971, in Ha Trung District, Thanh Hoa Province. He was appointed Deputy Minister of Construction by the Prime Minister on June 1, 2021.
Mr. Bui Hong Minh has held various positions: General Director of Vietnam Cement Corporation; Chairman of the Board of Members, Party Secretary of Vietnam Cement Corporation; Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Enterprise Party Committee, among others.
According to Decision 286/QD-TTg, Mr. Bui Hong Minh ceased to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Construction to assume the position of Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development starting from April 1, 2024.
The Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development is led by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai. The Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in researching, directing, guiding the implementation, and inspecting the implementation of the renovation of state-owned enterprises, state-owned farms and forestry companies (state-owned enterprises), and the development of enterprises registered to operate under the Enterprise Law.
The Steering Committee is tasked with assisting the Prime Minister in developing programs and plans for the renovation of state-owned enterprises and the development of enterprises registered to operate under the Enterprise Law nationwide. It also assists the Prime Minister in directing, guiding, and monitoring the implementation of the programs and plans once approved.
