MWG removed from the index, while BMP has been added to the index for this period.
The new index constituents will include 18 stocks, of which 10 stocks belong to the financial sector and 8 stocks to other non-financial sectors. In addition, the 10 stocks in the financial sector will be subject to a 40% market capitalization weighting limit (as per HOSE regulations).
In the ETF market, there are currently 3 ETFs that use the VNDiamond index as a reference, including DCVFMVN DIAMOND, MAFM VNDIAMOND, and BVFVN DIAMOND, with a total net asset value of approximately VND 15,748 billion as of April 15, 2024. The DCVFMVN Diamond fund alone currently has a total asset value of approximately VND 15,294 billion. Specifically, the fund’s total asset value decreased by 11.4% compared to the beginning of the year, of which the net capital withdrawal value was VND 4,229 billion and the NAV increased by 19.5% compared to the beginning of the year.
