Founded with a capital of 100 million VND and 20 employees, TTC has grown from its humble beginnings as an alcohol production facility to become a multi-industry conglomerate with operations in agriculture, energy, real estate, industrial real estate, tourism, education, and 120 subsidiaries in various sectors such as commerce, logistics, construction, steel structures, and healthcare. TTC’s ecosystem is a testament to the vision of its two founders, Mr. Dang Van Thanh and Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc.

While Mr. Dang Van Thanh is recognized by investors for his strategic vision and business acumen, Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc, as Executive Vice President and CEO of TTC Group, has been instrumental in the company’s growth alongside her husband. Along the journey, she has demonstrated both assertiveness and adaptability in her business decisions and interactions with employees.

Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc is also a role model for many female entrepreneurs, striking a balance between decisive and flexible decision-making in business and in her relationships with colleagues. Additionally, she is a successful businesswoman who has balanced her family life, guided her children toward successful careers, and maintained a harmonious home.

High aspirations for Vietnam’s agricultural sector

In her role as one of the key leaders of the leading sugar company Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa JSC (TTC AgriS; HOSE: SBT), she has made significant contributions to the Vietnamese sugar industry.

TTC AgriS is the leader in Vietnam’s sugar industry with a 46% domestic market share. It also has a presence in over 50 international export markets and cultivates over 71,000 hectares of raw materials in four countries: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Australia. It takes pride in being a leading multinational agricultural enterprise in Vietnam, offering a diverse product portfolio that includes over 88 sugar products (among which 6 are organic sugar products certified by the EU and USDA), 19 by-products and derivatives, 8 sugarcane-based beverages and purified water products, and, most notably, the recent introduction of 47 coconut-based products (Cocoxim, Momcooks, etc.) and 21 other products (solar power, Smiley Cavendish bananas, Dole export bananas, etc.). TTC AgriS is committed to providing high- nutritional value energy products that benefit consumers’ health and contribute to the well-being of society.

TTC AgriS, ASIF Foundation, and Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union sign a memorandum of understanding to repair and build 50 standard school facilities in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta region.

In line with the company’s strategic development plan for 2025 and vision for 2030, TTC AgriS aims to achieve a revenue of 60,000 billion VND by 2030 and strengthen its presence in the global F&B market. Under the astute business strategy of Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, and the unwavering efforts of its employees, TTC AgriS has consistently received high praise from reputable organizations for its governance practices.

Assuming key positions in the real estate sector

Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc was elected as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TTC Land on April 25, 2022. Prior to that, she served as Executive Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TTC Land from 2010 to 2019. Despite taking on the role of Chairwoman of TTC Land amidst a challenging real estate market characterized by tightening credit policies, corporate bond regulations, and obstacles in legal procedures, Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc has contributed to TTC Land’s achievements during her two years in this pivotal position.

In 2022, TTC Land successfully launched the TTC Plaza Duc Trong shopping center in Lam Dong province, boasting a total floor area of over 12,000 square meters. The company also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the investor, Toan Hai Van Joint Stock Company (TTC Phu Quoc), for the Selashine Commercial Street project within the 300-hectare Selavia Complex in Phu Quoc, Kien Giang province.

TTC Land has made diligent efforts in negotiations and collaboration with Aeon Mall Vietnam to sign a memorandum of understanding for the lease of the entire commercial space at the TTC Plaza Da Nang project.

In 2023, against the backdrop of a less favorable real estate market, under the determined leadership of its executives, including the Chairwoman, TTC Land has made significant strides in implementing robust restructuring measures. TTC Land has made significant progress in finalizing legal procedures and issuing land use rights certificates, house ownership certificates, and certificates for property attached to land to 431 existing residents from projects such as Carillon 3 and Jamona Heights. Additionally, the company’s commercial floor leasing activities with an occupancy rate of over 80% have provided TTC Land with a stable source of revenue. A notable highlight of 2023 was TTC Land’s successful negotiations and collaboration with Aeon Mall Vietnam, resulting in the signing of a memorandum of understanding to lease the entire commercial space at the TTC Plaza Da Nang project, supported by BIDV’s project development financing and Coteccons’ commencement of construction in early 2024.

Fulfilling social responsibility

In her role as Executive Vice President and CEO of TTC Group, Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc emphasizes that one of TTC’s core values is its responsibility to its shareholders, investors, partners, and customers. “TTC believes that the sustainable development of the company is inextricably linked to continuous improvement in business operations while simultaneously ensuring sustainable development and a harmonious balance between business strategy and social responsibility,” states Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc.

TTC Group’s subsidiaries have joined forces to provide clean water to communities affected by saltwater intrusion in Tien Giang and Long An provinces on 9 and 10 April 2024.

The Thanh Ngoc Charity Fund, founded by TTC Group, is a testament to the shared compassion of Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc and her husband. Their wish is to extend a helping hand to those in need, empowering them with the determination, strength, and hope to overcome life’s challenges. Over the past four decades, TTC has undertaken numerous meaningful initiatives, such as the “TTC Scholarship for Success” program in Ben Tre province, which has been held annually for nearly 40 years; the “Joy from Kindness” voluntary blood donation day, which has been organized for almost 15 consecutive years; the “White Coats to School” program; the provision of health insurance cards; the donation of livelihood support; the funding of houses for the underprivileged; the provision of scholarships for underprivileged but academically gifted students; the construction of rural traffic bridges; and the “Cool Down in the Dry Season” program, which provides clean water to communities affected by saltwater intrusion. TTC continues to engage in many other impactful activities.

Mrs. Huynh Bich Ngoc’s aspiration is to lend a helping hand to those in need, empowering them with the determination, strength, and hope to overcome life’s challenges.

It is anticipated that TTC will commemorate its 45th anniversary in July of this year (28.7.1979 – 28.7.2024), marking nearly five decades of steadfast operation in pursuit
