The inauguration was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the People’s Procuracy of Vinh Phuc Province, along with representatives from technology companies across the country, leading STEM universities, as well as Lumi’s distribution system, partners, customers, and more than 30 local and international press agencies.

During the event, guests had the opportunity to tour the entire factory, which boasts the most advanced SMT and DIP production lines available today. In addition, they got to experience Lumi’s latest IoT/Smarthome products firsthand in the showroom.
With the official inauguration of the Lumi Smart Factory, Lumi becomes a Make in Vietnam smarthome brand with a 6,000 m2 IoT/Smarthome factory, solidifying its leading position and long-term business vision and strategy.
High-tech IoT/Smarthome equipment manufacturing factory in Vietnam
Begun in mid-2022, with a total investment of over 100 billion VND, the Lumi Smart Factory aims to be a leading electronics manufacturing factory in Vietnam that meets international standards. The Lumi Smart Factory is equipped with advanced machinery from leading technology powerhouses like the US and Germany. Additionally, the factory employs professional production processes with Japanese-standard technological lines and an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, ensuring product quality with an AQL of less than 0.1%. With an experienced staff and a diverse supply chain, the Lumi Smart Factory meets all stringent production requirements with the highest levels of finish, aesthetics, and quality.

With a design capacity of up to 1 million smarthome devices, 500,000 smart lighting devices, and millions of IoT devices per year, the Lumi Smart Factory is confident in meeting the growing market demand effectively. The factory will not only serve as a production center for Lumi Vietnam but also as an ODM, OEM, and EMS factory for many domestic and international businesses. Successful partnerships with international companies such as Etec from Israel, Hogar Control and Eureka from India, and Elite from Australia are clear testaments to the factory’s superior production capacity, reputation, and quality in design consulting and turnkey manufacturing.
At the Lumi Smart Factory inauguration event, Mr. Bui The Duy – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology – extended his congratulations for Lumi Vietnam’s new journey and expressed his confidence in the brand’s future development: “Lumi has chosen an extremely challenging and arduous path, but I believe that Lumi will achieve success like the tech giants of the world and become the pride of Vietnam.
