GAC Trumpchi M8, launched in 2022, has finally made its debut in Southeast Asia, first in the Philippines and then in Malaysia in Q3 this year, with two variants: the GL Master and GX Master. Upon its introduction, the vehicle was playfully labeled the “Chinese Lexus LM” by social media users due to its striking resemblance to the Japanese luxury brand’s model.
