According to contractors, the Tan Van intersection is the most challenging to build on the Beltway 3 – Binh Duong section

This intersection is part of the XL1 bid package, valued at VND 1,831 billion, and is being constructed by a joint venture of 7 companies: Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company; Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company; Delta Construction and Trade Installation Joint Stock Company; Bac Trung Nam Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company; Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company 492; Hai Dang Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Import-Export and Construction Joint Stock Corporation.

Tan Van Intersection connects Binh Duong province’s gateway with Ho Chi Minh City’s Hanoi Boulevard; Binh Duong province officially started construction on April 22.

Tan Van Interchange is the complex traffic gateway connecting Di An City, Binh Duong Province with Ho Chi Minh City. This bid package has a total length of 2.4 km, and the contract has a duration of 1,050 days.

After its completion, the Tan Van Interchange will relieve traffic congestion, promoting socio-economic development for localities in the Southeast

After completion, this traffic intersection will open up bottlenecks connecting trade routes to provinces and cities in the Southeast, stimulating the region’s economic and social development, and creating new opportunities for business investment and development.

The Ho Chi Minh City Beltway 3 project through Binh Duong has a total length of about 26.6 km; of which the Tan Van interchange is 2.4 km long, the Binh Chuan – Saigon River section is 8.9 km long, and the section coinciding with My Phuoc – Tan Van road is 15.3 km long. The total investment is estimated at VND 190,280 billion, passing through 3 localities (Thu Dau Mot City, Di An, and Thuan An), with a total compensation cost of over VND 13,063 billion.

In 2024 alone, the section through Binh Duong is allocated VND 3,834.8 billion in investment capital for component projects.
