Vehicle registration inspection increases sharply, how to avoid congestion

At Hanoi’s 2903V inspection center, the number of cars waiting for inspection was very high from early morning.

The two inspection lines of the unit have been operating at full capacity.

Mr. Tran Quoc Hoan – Deputy Director in charge of the 2903V Inspection Center – said: “The cause of this congestion was predicted, because this occasion the number of vehicles expected to expire is very large, so there is a congestion. People should choose a reasonable time to go for inspection, avoid going early and prepare full documents and procedures”.

Also according to Mr. Hoan, people should register for an inspection appointment via the app , however, because the inspection center has a limited area, there is no separate lane for vehicles that have registered for an appointment in advance, so they still accept more vehicles and issue direct serial numbers.

According to the forecast, in May, more than 90,000 vehicles in the city will be due for inspection. There are currently 53 inspection lines at 28 centers operating in Hanoi.

At the 29-29D Pham Van Dong Street Inspection Center, the number of vehicles was not too crowded at 10:00 am on April 22.
