NCB Launches Feature to Set Nicknames for Bank Accounts

From April 23, 2024, customers with National Citizen Bank Limited (NCB) may customize their bank accounts with nicknames and make them easy to remember. Say goodbye to dull, hard-to-remember account numbers

With this new feature, NCB individual customers can log in to the NCB iziMobile app and create a nickname for their payment account, replacing the regular account number for transferring and receiving money on the digital banking channel. This new feature allows customers to create a new name for an existing account using a string of characters based on their preferences, date of birth, or any nickname they like. Users only need to make sure that the nickname for their account is in accordance with good morals, is between 6 and 20 characters long, includes both letters and numbers (first character must be a letter), and does not match any existing names.

As a result, users can easily create an account that is easy to remember and share, while also expressing their personal touch and impressing friends and business partners when making transactions. Account information also becomes shorter and more convenient for both the recipient and the sender.

NCB customers can now own a unique nickname account on the NCB iziMobile app

In addition, individual customers who are business owners or shopkeepers can also use this feature to create an account with their store name, which not only enhances their reputation and increases brand recognition, but also avoids the risk of customers entering incorrect payment information.

Easy registration, free expression of personality

To get a personalized account name, account holders only need to perform a few simple steps: Log in to the NCB iziMobile app, go to “Personal”, select “Account Nickname”, enter their preferred nickname, and confirm.

After successful registration, customers can immediately use their new account name to receive money instead of their traditional account number. This allows users to transact more conveniently through online banking, without having to memorize their account number and avoiding mistakes due to incorrect account number entry.

Notably, this exciting feature is provided by NCB completely free of charge to customers using NCB iziMobile digital banking. If customers want to change or remove their nickname to use their regular payment account, they can also customize it quickly and flexibly directly on the app, without having to visit the bank in person or pay any fees.

This is one of the superior features that NCB has launched in the market recently to personalize and enhance the user experience, providing optimal convenience for customers in their financial transactions. Previously, many outstanding features have helped NCB iziMobile win points with users, such as: the bill sharing feature, which is particularly useful for shop owners; withdrawing cash from ATMs using the NCB iziMobile app without a physical card; paying bills with credit cards; opening new debit cards and virtual credit cards through the online channel on the NCB iziMobile digital banking app in just 1 minute; and enjoying online shopping as soon as the card is successfully activated…

NCB’s products and services are developed based on customer understanding and have gained the trust and love of users

In addition, NCB continuously rewards customers who use digital banking with many attractive promotional programs. In particular, on the 10th of every month from now until September 2024, customers who pay bills or top up their mobile phones with VND 100,000 or more through the NCB iziMobile app will receive an immediate 20% refund (up to VND 50,000). The offer is valid for customers who maintain an average payment account balance of at least VND 1 million in the month preceding the payment period. Each customer can apply the promo code once per month and up to 6 times throughout the program.

For more details, program terms and conditions, and other attractive offers, customers can visit the NCB website https://www.ncb-bank.vn/, contact NCB branches/offices nationwide, or call the Hotline (028) 38 216 216 – 1800 6166.
