Agribank Accompanying Import-Export Enterprises in 2024

Agribank deploys the "Accompanying Import-Export Enterprises 2024" program with a scale of VND 20,000 billion of preferential short-term credit, interest rates lower than the floor interest rate for regular loans by up to 2.4%/year and many incentives on deposit interest rates, service fees and foreign exchange rates.

From April 22, 2024 to December 31, 2024, Agribank will implement the double incentive package “Accompanying import and export enterprises in 2024” including credit incentives and non-credit incentives. In which, the total scale of preferential credit is 20,000 billion VND, applied to short-term loans in VND, interest rates lower than the floor interest rate for normal loans by up to 2.4% / year. The incentives are for legal customers and private enterprises operating in import and export production and business with short-term capital needs.

Besides credit incentives, enterprises participating in the program will enjoy preferential interest rates on capital mobilization, preferential service fees and preferential foreign exchange buying and selling rates. Agribank reduces fees for types of international payment fees, trade finance and foreign exchange buying and selling rates, … until June 30, 2025. In particular, free import L/C payment, collection payment fee import, foreign currency remittance payment fee up to 3 transaction months. The non-term deposit interest rate for import-export enterprises participating in the program is up to 0.3% / year higher than the current interest rate.

In the first quarter of 2024, import and export increased strongly at double digits, the total import and export turnover of goods increased by 15.5% over the same period last year. Agribank hopes that the incentives from the program Accompanying import and export enterprises will continue to create momentum to promote positive signals for the economy.

Since the beginning of the year, Agribank has provided 95,000 billion VND of preferential interest rate credit capital for SME business customers, large enterprise customers, Corporations/Corporations, investment project financing, import-export enterprises. At the same time, earmarked over 60,000 billion VND of preferential credit for individual customers to borrow for consumption, expand and develop production and business. Agribank is committed to maximizing resources to accompany import-export activities and contribute to the development of the country’s economy.
