SYM Vietnam has recently added a new matte black color option to its Shark 50 scooter, which is now available for a price of 24.5 million VND.
Aside from the new color, the matte black Shark 50 remains identical to the standard version.
The SYM Shark 50 is a compact scooter with overall dimensions of 1,931 mm in length, 665 mm in width, and 1,096 mm in height. The wheelbase is 1,335 mm, and the ground clearance is 110 mm. Notable details include the embossed red SYM logo and Shark 50 name, which stand out against the black background.
The scooter features a 35W halogen headlight with white light and large turn signals for enhanced visibility. The Shark 50’s analog instrument panel is easy to read with clear displays. The Shark 50 has a spacious luggage compartment that can accommodate various items. The scooter also uses a traditional key and a front-mounted fuel cap.
The SYM Shark 50 rolls on 14-inch wheels with good grip, enhancing control and reducing the risk of skidding. The scooter’s suspension system consists of telescopic front forks and rear spring shock absorbers.
Powering the scooter is a 49.5cc single-cylinder engine with air cooling. This engine produces a maximum power of 3.3 horsepower at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 3.1 Nm at 7000 rpm. With a top speed of 50 km/h, the Shark 50 has a fuel consumption rate of only 1.97 liters per 100 kilometers.
