Why Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway Will Be Closed Tomorrow?

Cam Lamh - Vĩnh Hảo Expressway will have one lane temporarily closed from 7am - 6pm tomorrow (April 28th) for the inauguration ceremony.

On April 27th afternoon, Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway Joint Stock Company sent an official dispatch to the Traffic Police Department – Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Committees of Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, and Khanh Hoa provinces about traffic control to serve the project inauguration ceremony of Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway.

Specifically, the inauguration ceremony and the opening of Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway will take place on April 28th at the Northern Square area of Nui Vung Tunnel, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province. To ensure traffic safety for the ceremony, Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway Joint Stock Company will temporarily close this road from 7 am to 6 pm on April 28th. The closed section of the expressway ranges from Du Long junction (Ninh Thuan province) to Vinh Hao junction (Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province).

Therefore, at the time when the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao expressway is temporarily closed, vehicles traveling from the South to the North, when reaching Vinh Hao junction (the end of the Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet expressway), will move to National Highway 1A to continue their journey. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the North to the South, after passing Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway to Du Long junction, will temporarily move to National Highway 1A, then re-enter the Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet Expressway to continue moving.

Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway project has a total investment capital of nearly VND 9,000 billion, invested in the form of a public-private partnership (PPP) by a joint venture of Deo Ca Group – Company 194 as the investor. The project has a total length of 78.5km, passing through 3 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan with a scale of 4 lanes, a maximum allowable speed of 90km/h, and was put into operation on April 26th.
