According to a representative of Tan Son Nhat International Airport, on April 29, there were more than 590 arriving and departing flights, with more than 89,000 passengers. Of which, there were about 42,000 arriving passengers and about 47,000 departing passengers. The number of passengers has decreased significantly compared to the peak day of the beginning of the holiday – on April 26, Tan Son Nhat welcomed more than 690 arriving and departing flights with more than 115,000 passengers.
At Noi Bai International Airport – Hanoi, since April 28, the number of domestic passengers has decreased by 10,000 compared to the first day of the holiday. The freight volume is expected to continue to decrease slightly, and will increase again on May 1.
