Another Bank Hikes Savings Interest Rates Effective Today, May 2

ACB Bank just officially adjusted interest rates on savings from today, May 2nd.

  1. Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) became the first bank to raise its interest rate in May 2024, immediately after the holiday.

According to the latest savings interest rate, ACB increased the interest rate for deposits with terms from 1 to 3 months by 0.2 percentage points for all deposit levels. 

Specifically, for deposits under 200 million VND, the savings interest rate is listed with a 1-month term increased to 2.3%/year, 2 months increased to 2.7%/year, 3 months is 2.9%/year. ACB keeps the interest rate unchanged for other terms. Accordingly, the interest rate for 6 months is 3.5%/year, 9 months is 3.8%/year, 12 months is 4.5%/year.

For deposits from 200 million VND to under 1 billion VND, the interest rate is listed with a 1-month term increased by 0.2 percentage points to 2.6%/year, 2 months increased to 2.8%/year, 3 months increased to 3%/year. The other terms remain unchanged, with the 6-month interest rate increasing to 3.6%/year, 9 months to 3.9%/year, 12 months to 4.6%/year.

For deposits from 1 billion VND to under 5 billion VND, the interest rate is listed with a 1-month term increasing to 2.65%/year, 2 months is 2.85%/year, 3 months is 3.05%/year . Savings interest rates for other terms remain unchanged, including 3.65%/year for 6 months, 3.95%/year for 9 months, 4.65%/year for 12 months.

For deposits of 5 billion VND and above, the interest rate is listed with a term of 1 month increased to 2.7%/year, 2 months is 2.9%/year, 3 months is 3.1%/year. Similarly, other terms remain unchanged at 3.7%/year for 6 months, 4.0%/year for 9 months, 4.7%/year for 12 months.
