Ferrari 12-Cylinder: Cường Đô la Has Placed an Order?

On the morning of May 3rd, during the F1 Miami Grand Prix, Ferrari unveiled its latest 12-cylinder supercar. This model takes the place of the previous 812 Superfast and comes in two versions: Coupe and the Spider convertible.

Cường đô-la’s comment has been hidden.

On the very same morning of the launch, entrepreneur Nguyễn Quốc Cường quickly placed an order by commenting on a Facebook post. According to the official distributor, only two units have been allocated for the Vietnamese market.

Cường Đô la’s comment immediately drew attention from the online community. A Ferrari Vietnam consultant also privately messaged the Gia Lai-born entrepreneur to discuss the order. As of now, Nguyễn Quốc Cường’s comment has been hidden by the post’s author.

Many predict that the price of the Ferrari 12-Cylinder upon arrival in Vietnam will be around 35 billion VND. If the deal goes through, Cường Đô la will be the first customer to own this latest model from Ferrari.

12-Cylinder in Italian means 12 cylinders.

In addition to Nguyễn Quốc Cường, automotive enthusiasts in Vietnam are speculating that the second order for the 12-Cylinder may go to Đặng Lê Nguyên Vũ, who recently became a Ferrari VIP customer.

What Makes the Ferrari 12-Cylinder Special?

The highlight of the 12-Cylinder is its class-leading 6.5L V12 engine, which Ferrari has used for over two decades. This engine produces 819 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

According to Ferrari, the 12-Cylinder can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 340 km/h. The convertible version accelerates slightly slower (2.95 seconds to 100 km/h and 8.2 seconds to 200 km/h) due to a 60 kg difference in weight (1,560 kg versus 1,620 kg).

The 12-Cylinder features a distinctive exterior compared to current Ferrari models, with a sharper, more angular design.

The front end is somewhat reminiscent of the legendary 365 GTB/4 Daytona, with sharp headlights and daytime running lights, and a black stripe separating them. Moving towards the rear, softer lines similar to those on the Roma appear. The Ferrari 12-Cylinder has larger dimensions than the 812 Superfast in all aspects except for a 20mm shorter wheelbase.

Like recent Ferrari models, the 12-Cylinder boasts
