Deputy Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Bui Xuan Cuong has just chaired a meeting to hear a report on the conversion of land use purposes from other types of land to residential land for households and individuals in the area of ​​housing group planning in the planning projects. sub-zones according to the provisions of the Law on Urban Planning.

According to the notice of conclusion of the meeting from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Office, Mr. Bui Xuan Cuong agreed on the issuance of a document of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee directing the implementation of the conversion of land use purposes from other types of land to residential land for households and individuals; not creating new regulations.

Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee will have a document guiding the implementation of the conversion of land use purposes from other types of land to residential land for households and individuals in the area of ​​the residential group planning in the sub-area planning projects.

The Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over, coordinate with the Department of Planning and Architecture, the Department of Justice and related departments and branches to complete the content of the draft of the above-mentioned document, including specific instructions on a number of contents.

Regarding the conditions for allowing the conversion of land use purposes, the location of the land plot proposed for conversion of the purpose of use must be in accordance with the planning (determining the specific location with the planning function of residential land), ensuring consistency in related planning projects. has been approved by the competent authority.

In addition, the location of the land plot proposed for conversion of the purpose of use must be adjacent to a traffic road managed by the People’s Committees of districts, towns and Thu Duc City according to regulations (existing roads or newly formed roads have been accepted for handover in accordance with regulations).

Regarding the area allowed for conversion of land use purposes, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment presides over and coordinates with the Department of Planning and Architecture, the Department of Justice and related departments and branches to study legal regulations, agree on the content included in Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee’s draft guidance documents.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment reports, submits to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee before May 15, with the completed draft document of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

Meanwhile, the Department of Planning and Architecture presides over, guiding the People’s Committees of districts, towns and Thu Duc City to review and propose adjustments to the 1/2,000 scale subdivision planning or organize the development, appraisal and approval of 1/500 scale detailed planning for urban blocks with the planning function of “mixed-use land” to determine the specific location of residential land, as a basis for converting the purpose of use.
