The Board of Directors of Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank (LPBank, HOSE: LPB) has just passed a resolution to conduct the procedures for changing the bank’s name according to the option approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders.
The full name in Vietnamese is Fortune Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank. The abbreviated name in Vietnamese is Fortune Vietnam Bank. The full name in English is Fortune Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank. The abbreviated name in English remains unchanged as LPBank.
Thus, compared with the contents submitted to the preceding General Meeting of Shareholders for approval, LPBank has changed its full name in English. Initially, the bank intended to change its name in English to Loc Phat Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank.
The Board of Directors has assigned the General Director to decide on the contents, edit, supplement, sign the documents, and complete the dossiers to be sent to the state management agencies and relevant units (if any) to conduct the procedures for changing the Bank’s name in accordance with the provisions of law and LPBank.
