**Close to 170 TTC Staff and Employees Donate Blood**
**2024, Ho Chi Minh City aims to receive over 250,000 voluntary blood donations to secure emergency and treatment blood supply for over 150 hospitals. In response to this meaningful call, on the morning of May 03, 2024, TTC Group cooperated with the Red Cross Association of Tan Binh District and DHA Healthcare Polyclinic to organize the “Joy from Benevolence” voluntary blood donation program for the 13th time in 2024, contributing to better meeting the blood demand of patients in hospitals across the city.**
Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc – Standing Vice Chairman and General Director of TTC Group directly encouraged, expressed gratitude, and motivated the blood donors.
**Accordingly, with the support of DHA Healthcare, blood donors were guided and taken care of before, during, and after donating blood. Through testing, screening, and on-site health check-ups, nearly 170 staff and employees were eligible to donate blood. The total result was 231.8 units of blood, coming from the staff of the following units: Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Company, Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Company, Sai Gon Thuong Tin Real Estate Company, Thanh Thanh Cong Tourist Company, GEC Company, Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Zone Company, Dang Huynh Industrial Zone Exploitation and Management Company, Thanh Thanh Cong Trading Company, Thanh Thanh Cong Logistics Service Company, TTC Energy Company, Thanh Thanh Nam Company, and several other companies under the Group. Notably, the team of doctors from DHA Healthcare Polyclinic also donated blood immediately after completing their tasks.**
“Joy from Benevolence” voluntary blood donation demonstrates the responsibility for the community’s health in general and those in need of blood in particular.
**The voluntary blood donation movement at TTC Group has been maintained and promoted with the attention of the management and the enthusiastic response of the staff. Some staff and employees have donated blood continuously for many consecutive years. After 13 years, the number of TTC staff donating blood from 350ml to 450ml has increased, and the quality of blood received has also improved, contributing to sharing life with patients.**
**According to Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc, Standing Vice Chairman and General Director of TTC Group, voluntary blood donation is a meaningful activity that deeply demonstrates the morality of “Love others as you love yourself.” This is a responsibility to the community and also a joy when one’s blood donation can bring life to others. “TTC Group always believes that the good things given are not only material and spiritual but also a source of motivation, bringing hope and faith in a brighter future to the less fortunate, because TTC understands: What comes from the heart will reach the heart,” affirmed Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc.**
**Organized Simultaneously Nationwide**
**Since the beginning of this year, Yersin Da Lat University has coordinated with the Red Cross Association of Lam Dong province to carry out two blood drives, collecting a total of 411 units of blood; Toan Hai Van JSC coordinated with the Labor Federation of Phu Quoc City to organize the first voluntary blood donation drive in 2024, which attracted the participation of many staff and employees.**
**Not only taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, and Kien Giang, the “Joy from Benevolence” voluntary blood donation program is also being carried out by member units of the Group nationwide – where TTC’s affiliated units are located throughout 2024.**
**Spreading the Best Things**
**With the motto “For the community, developing the locality,” many charitable activities have been carried out by TTC Group. Most recently, when severe drought is occurring throughout the country, especially in the provinces of the Mekong Delta region, sympathizing with the difficulties faced by the people, the “Together with TTC – Cool the Summer Drought” program was quickly launched.**
**As planned, 62 clean water trucks (30 cubic meters of water per truck) were donated by TTC directly to the people in Ben Tre, Long An, Tien Giang, and other provinces from April to May 2024.**
The trucks not only carry clean water but also carry TTC’s immense love to the people in the drought and salinity-affected areas.
TTC staff do not hesitate to travel long distances, in the heat, or on holidays and weekends to enthusiastically deliver clean water to the people.
**The program of transporting clean water to the Mekong Delta provinces, the “Joy from Benevolence” voluntary blood donation festival, and many other practical activities are clear evidence of the spirit of mutual affection of the staff of TTC Group, further igniting hope and good things in the community and society.**
