A Neighboring Province to Ho Chi Minh City, with Plans for an Airport Next to Tan Son Nhat, Calls for Investment in Over 50 Projects

The Tay Ninh People's Committee has unveiled an extensive list of investment opportunities for 2024. With a total of 54 projects, the focus is on residential development, offering a wide range of investment prospects in this vibrant province.

Tay Ninh is set to soar with an impressive roster of 53 investment projects in 2024, spanning across various sectors. These projects are strategically aligned with the province’s vision to become a dynamic and vibrant hub, offering an exceptional living environment while effectively adapting to climate change.

Among these projects, 6 are focused on urban development, including the Trảng Bàng urban services area spanning 175 hectares, and the urban area adjacent to the National Tourist Area of Núi Bà Đen, covering 266 hectares. There are also 15 projects dedicated to housing construction, such as the commercial housing area on Ho Van Lam Street with a scale of 3.12 hectares, and the commercial and residential project in Ward 4, Tay Ninh City, spanning 2,488 hectares.

The province also prioritizes the development of trade, services, and markets, with 10 projects in this sector. This includes the Trảng Bàng Trade Center spanning 0.69 hectares and the commercial services project in Ward 1, Tay Ninh City, covering an area of 0.144 hectares. Additionally, there are 2 projects in the field of education and training, ensuring a strong foundation for the province’s future.

Tay Ninh also has its sights set on enhancing transportation with a project in the field of transport, along with 2 projects for import-export warehouses. The province is committed to fostering sustainable practices with 1 project in the industrial sector, 9 in agriculture, and 3 in tourism. Additionally, there is a focus on sports with 1 project, and essential services are bolstered with 1 project for urban wastewater collection and treatment, and 2 projects for urban water supply.

As per the approved plan, Tay Ninh will construct an airport in Dương Minh Châu District, conveniently located near important transport routes such as the Go Dau – Xa Mat expressway and National Highways 22 and 22B.

The province’s ambitious goals are outlined in the Tay Ninh Provincial Planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision towards 2050. By 2030, Tay Ninh aims to become a vibrant province with a strong, clean industry and high-tech agriculture. The province also strives for excellence in urban development, targeting to establish 16 urban areas, including 1 type-II city, 3 type-III towns, 5 type-IV towns, and 7 type-V towns.

Tay Ninh’s strategic location in the Southeast region, its position as a border province, and its role in connecting the Central Highlands and the Mekong Delta to the Southeast region and the Asian economic corridor, all contribute to its promising future. With a young workforce, ample land resources, and untapped tourism potential, Tay Ninh is poised for remarkable growth and development.

Notably, the approved plan includes the construction of an airport in Dương Minh Châu District, utilizing approximately 500 hectares of land. This airport will play a pivotal role in boosting the province’s socio-economic development and supporting the growth of economic zones.
