Special Requests from Brazilian Football Legends on their Visit to Vietnam

As part of a special diplomatic event celebrating 35 years of relations between Vietnam and Brazil, Brazilian football legends traveled to Vietnam for two friendly matches with former Vietnamese national team players and Vietnamese KOLs in Da Nang, as well as a match against the Hanoi Public Security Club at Hang Day Stadium.

Embracing local customs, even before their arrival in Vietnam, the Brazilian football veterans made a special request – one that excited many Vietnamese football fans. Instead of bringing their own jerseys or using a foreign sports brand, they wanted to wear a Vietnamese brand’s apparel during their stay.

After careful consideration and evaluation of several local brands, the organizers chose Kamito, a reputable domestic sports brand, as the official apparel sponsor for the Brazilian legends during their stay in Vietnam.

Kamito’s proven track record and experience as the official jersey sponsor for multiple V-League football clubs impressed the Brazilian legends. This satisfaction led to another special visit.

Aside from their football schedule, coach Carlos Dunga, captain of Brazil’s 1994 World Cup-winning team, and his teammates paid a surprise visit to Kamito’s showroom in Vietnam for a shopping spree.

“I really like Kamito’s products,” Dunga shared with everyone after selecting numerous shoes and outfits. Within a few days of experiencing sports gear designed and manufactured by the Vietnamese, Dunga formed a positive impression and wanted to collect more souvenirs before returning home from this meaningful trip to Vietnam.

Promoting Vietnam to the World

The presence of Brazilian football legends such as Rivaldo, Kleberson, Ze Carlos, Giovanni, Dunga, Paulo Sergio, Lucio, and Edminson in Vietnam garnered significant attention from football enthusiasts. The turnout at the matches in Da Nang’s Hoa Xuan Stadium and Hanoi’s Hang Day Stadium was a testament to their popularity.

Choosing Da Nang as the venue for the Vietnam-Brazil legends match and organizing tours for the football legends to Ha Long Bay contributed to promoting Vietnam’s renowned tourist attractions to global football fans and international travelers.

This event also provided an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to showcase their Made-in-Vietnam products to a diverse audience of football enthusiasts and international friends. The endorsement of Kamito’s products by the Brazilian football legends serves as a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of Vietnamese products, capable of satisfying the demands of the world’s most elite customers.

Kamito’s story is a testament to this recognition.

“We are proud that our products, crafted by Vietnamese, are chosen by world-renowned football legends. This acknowledgment serves as a motivation for Kamito, and Vietnamese brands in general, to strive towards creating products that meet the high standards of international customers,” shared Chu Cam Linh, CEO of Kamito. “We aim to lay the foundation for Vietnamese brands to step onto the global stage.”

Kamito’s Aspiration to Become an International Sports Brand

Over the years, Kamito has gained a strong foothold in Vietnam’s sports consumer market. Their products, known for quality and reasonable pricing, with a focus on user experience, have attracted many Vietnamese customers. Kamito’s range includes sports shoes, jerseys, balls, rackets, and various sports accessories and equipment.

Additionally, their collaborations with Vietnamese sports stars such as Quang Hai, Nguyen Tuan Anh, and Nguyen Tien Minh have further elevated their brand reputation.

Currently, Kamito is the official apparel sponsor for multiple professional football clubs, including Hanoi Public Security Club, Lpbank Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Becamex Binh Duong, and Binh Dinh. The company also provides uniforms to reputable partners like the Vinshool school system and the Vietgoal community football center network.

With a focus on bringing their products closer to Vietnamese consumers rather than immediate profit, Kamito aims to promote a sports-centric culture in Vietnam. Additionally, the brand strives to prove that Vietnamese-made products can compete with international brands in terms of both quality and pricing.

“When we look at our neighboring countries, they have already established internationally renowned sports brands. In Vietnam, no enterprise has achieved this feat yet. This is both our aspiration and our opportunity at Kamito. Though we know it won’t be easy, we believe that with continued effort, we can create a brand that will make Vietnam proud in the world of sports,” shared Chu Cam Linh.
