As of 11:30 a.m., the HOSE index temporarily closed at its highest level of the morning session, thanks mainly to the continuous strong growth and maintenance of the upward momentum of securities stocks.
SSI and VND rose more than 3%, while HCM and FTS surged 5.67% and 6.79%, respectively. BSI even hit the ceiling price in the last minutes of the morning session with a gain of 6.86%. Along with that, the remaining stocks in the group, including SHS, MBS, VIX, CTS, AGR, VDS, and TVS, created a strong pull for the VN-Index. It is also worth mentioning the positive contribution of VCI, a large-cap stock, which jumped more than 4%.
Closely following was the plastic and chemical production industry, with a growth rate of 3.38%. GVR stock led the group with a gain of 5.61%, followed by DGC, up 3.03%, and DCM and DPM, up 1.09% and 1.24%, respectively.
In the building materials group, steel stocks such as HPG, with a gain of 1.57%, HSG (+2.25%), NKG (+3.51%), and POM (+3.03%) made positive contributions. Other building materials stocks that also played a significant role included VCS (+1.08%), VGC (+2.53%), HT1 (+2.74%), and FCM (+2.22%).
10:40 a.m.: Tilting towards an uptrend
VN-Index up 10.50 points, trading around 1,231 points. HNX-Index up 2.38 points, trading around 230 points.
Most of the stocks in the VN30 basket witnessed a strong surge. Notably, HPG, VJC, MWG, and MBB contributed 2.05 points, 1.19 points, 1.15 points, and 0.98 points to the VN30 index, respectively. On the other hand, HDB, VIC, SSB, and VRE were the stocks facing selling pressure, deducting more than 1 point from the index.

Leading the current uptrend was the securities sector, with almost all stocks in the group trading in the green. Specifically, SSI rose 2.16%, VND gained 2.96%, VCI climbed 2.89%, and HCM increased by 4.35%… Only VFS stock was still facing selling pressure, but the decline was insignificant.
Following the securities sector was the banking industry, with a similar breadth to the securities group. Specifically, VCB rose 0.54%, BID climbed 1.32%, CTG increased by 0.31%, and TCB went up by 0.21%…
Although the real estate group also contributed to the market’s overall uptrend, this group still experienced relatively strong differentiation, with green dominating. The green color was present in stocks such as BCM, NVL, KBC, and PDR…, with gains of over 1%. However, the big three stocks, VIC, VHM, and VRE, were still in the red, falling 0.79%, 0.36%, and 1.07%, respectively.
Compared to the beginning of the session, buyers still had a slight advantage. There were 466 stocks rising (22 stocks hitting the ceiling price) and 161 falling (12 stocks hitting the floor price).

Market Open: Positive Start
Following the upward momentum of the previous sessions, VN-Index gained points, thanks to the positive contributions from the VN30 group, the wholesale sector, and securities stocks.
As of 9:30 a.m., the green color temporarily dominated the VN30 basket, with 21 gainers, 7 losers, and 2 stocks trading at reference prices. Among them, stocks that performed well from the beginning of the session included PLX (+1.39%), MSN (+1.00%), MWG (+0.36%), SSI (+0.87%), VIB (+0.94%), and MBB (+0.89%). On the other hand, HDB and VIC were the stocks with significant declines of (-1.43%) and (-1.24%), respectively…
In addition, the wholesale group also made a significant contribution, rising 1.4%, as all stocks in the group recorded gains, including PLX (+1.39%), DGW (+1.19%), PET (+0.21%), and VFG (+3.22%).
Following was the securities sector, with a gain of 1.07%. This increase was mainly driven by stocks such as VCI (+1.18%), HCM (+0.95%), BSI (+1.18%), SSI (+0.87%), VND (+0.74%), SHS (+1.1%), FTS (+1.28%), VIX (+0.89%), and MBS (+0.37%).
