The beautiful lady in the picture, Dang Thi Ngoc Han, was crowned Miss Vietnam in 2010. According to NVT‘s 2023 financial statements, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Fine Arts and has over a decade of experience in the fields of culture, arts, fashion, and media.

The decision to release her from her position was made based on her personal request to focus on other individual goals. Last month, she shared her plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Theory and History of Applied Fine Arts at the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts, with classes expected to start in June.

Ms. Ngoc Han was appointed as Deputy General Director of NVT on March 16, 2022. During her tenure, she earned a salary of over 933 million VND in 2022 (approximately 98 million VND per month) and 1.4 billion VND in 2023 (approximately 117 million VND per month).

On her personal Facebook page, Ms. Han mentioned that she also serves as the Director of External Relations for Nhua Dong Nai (HNX: DNP), the founder and manager of Adam Store, and the CEO of Ngoc Han Boutique.

On the same day, May 17th, NVT announced the list of candidates for the Board of Supervisors and the Board of Directors to be presented at the upcoming 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Specifically, the list includes three candidates for the Board of Supervisors: Ms. Dinh Thi Hanh, Mr. Nguyen Ho Ngoc, and Mr. Vu Ha Nam; and one candidate for the Board of Directors, Mr. Do Quang Hai, who is expected to replace Mr. Vu Hong Quynh, who has also been released from his duties.

Mr. Vu Hong Quynh holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He has nearly 20 years of experience in management and operations related to the tourism, accommodation, and resort industries. As of December 31, 2023, Mr. Quynh was also a Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Bao Viet Hotel and Tourism Joint Stock Company, and the General Director of NHSLand Real Estate Business Investment Company Limited.

Ninh Van Bay, formerly known as Tuan Phong Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, was established in September 2006 with a charter capital of 1 billion VND. In September 2009, the company increased its charter capital to 265 billion VND and changed its name to Ninh Van Bay Tourism Real Estate Joint Stock Company, as it is known today. After several changes, the company’s charter capital as of March 31, 2024, was 905 billion VND.

Ninh Van Bay is a tourism real estate business specializing in investing in and building high-class ecological resorts in Vietnam. The company mainly operates in the tourism and resort industry, managing and operating well-known resorts such as Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Emralda Ninh Binh, Lac Viet New Tourist City, and Six Senses Saigon River. The company owns a vast area of land and coastline spanning 250 hectares in major tourist cities in Vietnam, including Ninh Binh, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Binh Thuan, Saigon, and Phu Quoc.

In terms of business performance, in the first quarter of 2024, NVT achieved nearly 114 billion VND in net revenue, a 23% increase compared to the same period last year. Their after-tax profit reached almost 16.6 billion VND, an eightfold increase, and their net profit was nearly 3.6 billion VND, compared to a net loss of nearly 5.6 billion VND in the previous year.

For the year 2024, the NVT Board of Directors has proposed a plan to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, to be held on May 27, with a target of over 390 billion VND in net revenue and nearly 22 billion VND in after-tax profit.

Recent Business Results of NVT

On May 7, 2010, the company’s shares officially began trading on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) under the code NVT. At the close of May 17, 2024, NVT shares were priced at 8,220 VND per share, up over 4% since the beginning of the year, with an average liquidity of nearly 3,300 shares per day.
