During the dialogue, the authorities did not agree to Thanh Buoi’s proposal to establish a temporary bus station at 54 Hung Vuong Street, Ward 9, Da Lat City.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Huu Tung, the authorized representative of Thanh Buoi Company, shared that since July 2006, Thanh Buoi has been permitted by the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee to operate a type-5 bus station at No. 5 Lu Gia, Ward 9, Da Lat City.

The Thanh Buoi Bus Station specializes in passenger transportation and cargo shipping to two routes: Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City.

On April 17, 2020, the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee granted permission to Thanh Buoi Company to invest in and construct a temporary bus station at 54 Hung Vuong. However, the authorities later requested that Thanh Buoi relocate the station to another site due to frequent traffic congestion on Hung Vuong Street.

In response to Thanh Buoi’s request to establish a temporary station at 54 Hung Vuong Street, Ward 9, Da Lat City, the representative of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee explained that the province has already planned three bus stations located in the outskirts of Da Lat City, namely Cam Ly, Phuong Trang, and Darahoa bus stations.

Allowing Thanh Buoi Company to open a new bus station would contradict the master plan that has been approved by the Prime Minister.
