The Da Nang People’s Committee has issued Document No. 2619/UBND-STP, lifting the temporary suspension of transactions involving assets of companies associated with Phan Van Anh Vu, also known as Vu “nhom,” and his wife, Nguyen Thi Thu Hien.

The document was sent to various entities, including the State Bank’s Da Nang branch, banks and credit institutions, the Da Nang Tax Department, the municipal police, the Department of Justice, the Department of Planning and Investment, people’s committees at district and commune levels, and the city’s Land Registration Office and its branches.
It stated that the decision was made in accordance with Document No. 903/C01-P3 dated November 7, 2023, issued by the Office of the Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security, regarding the lifting of the temporary suspension of transactions involving assets of Nguyen Thi Thu Hien and companies related to Phan Van Anh Vu.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee directed the lifting of the freeze on the assets of Nguyen Thi Thu Hien and companies associated with Phan Van Anh Vu, as instructed in previous documents: Document No. 10464/2017 on temporarily suspending transactions and ownership transfers, Document No. 01/UBND-NC dated January 2, 2018, on freezing assets and accounts related to Phan Van Anh Vu and Bac Nam 79 Construction Company, and Document No. 4946/UBND-NCKSTT dated June 27, 2018, on implementing the request to freeze and prohibit the sale, transfer, donation, or authorization of assets.
The Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee requested that the aforementioned agencies, units, and localities seriously implement the content of the document.
Previously, to facilitate the investigation of cases related to Phan Van Anh Vu, the Ministry of Public Security had requested the Da Nang People’s Committee to temporarily suspend transactions involving assets such as shares, stocks, and real estate of individuals and organizations associated with Phan Van Anh Vu.
