The Wuling Mini EV is taking the market by storm, with its compact size and affordable price tag. It’s not just individual customers who are interested in this mini electric car; businesses are also investing in fleets of the Wuling Mini EV for their operations.
Recently, a Wuling dealership in Gia Lai province delivered 20 Wuling Mini EVs to the Ngoc Linh Ginseng brand. These vehicles will be used by their staff to travel to markets and promote their products to customers.
A representative from Ngoc Linh Ginseng shared their reasoning behind choosing the Wuling Mini EV: “Its small size makes it easy to maneuver through narrow streets and reach customers’ homes, making our promotional activities and sales efforts much more convenient. The initial investment and running costs are also very economical, and the car provides a smooth and stable driving experience.”

Previously, 30 Wuling Mini EVs were also chosen by Let’s Go An Binh Joint Stock Company as their go-to vehicles for providing services to locals and tourists in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province.
Another business in Bac Ninh province has also purchased a fleet of these mini electric cars for their local ride-hailing services. This showcases the widespread appeal of the Wuling Mini EV among businesses in Vietnam.
The Wuling Mini EV is a small electric car from China that was first introduced in Vietnam in mid-2023, with a price range of VND 239-279 million for four different models.
However, due to lower-than-expected sales, dealerships have been offering significant discounts on the Wuling Mini EV. This trend started even before the official price announcement of the VinFast VF 3, indicating the challenges faced by the Wuling Mini EV in the market.
Currently, some dealerships are offering the standard model of the Wuling Mini EV for as low as VND 189 million, a VND 50 million reduction from the listed price. There are even dealerships selling the same model for VND 179 million, a massive VND 60 million discount. Despite these price cuts, the Wuling Mini EV is still struggling to convince the majority of consumers.
