Although it hasn’t been produced in Vietnam for a long time, the Honda Spacy “scooter legend” is still being sold in China with various versions. Most recently, the Honda brand officially launched an upgraded version called Youku for the Spacy 110 in the billion-people market.

The 2024 model of this scooter has a more attractive design and modern features. Its overall dimensions are 1,790 mm in length, 685 mm in width, and 1,090 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,238 mm, a ground clearance of 120 mm, a weight of 106 kg, and a fuel tank capacity of 6.4 liters.

The Honda Spacy Youku 110 2024 features a modern and sporty design that rivals the popular Vision and LEAD models in Vietnam. The front of the new Spacy 110 has been optimized and improved with smooth, classic yet modern and elegant lines.

It is equipped with a halogen headlight for high visibility, an analog instrument cluster, and front turn signals that are seamlessly connected and styled like a necklace. Additionally, Honda has equipped the Spacy Youku 110 2024 with a smart key system, ID SMART Key, and a USB charging port inside the front storage compartment…

The Honda Spacy Youku 110 2024 boasts a front disc brake combined with linked brake technology (CBS) and a rear drum brake. It also features a spacious seat, a large under-seat compartment, a sturdy cargo hook, and a robust grab rail.

In terms of performance, the Honda Spacy Youku 110 2024 is powered by a 108cc engine that delivers extremely low fuel consumption and is paired with Wuyang-Honda’s exclusive high-performance i-Fi electronic fuel injection system. This engine produces 7.4 horsepower and 8.41 Nm of torque.

The scooter is priced at 10,000 Chinese yuan (approximately 35.2 million Vietnamese dong) and is available in two new colors: Coffee White and Charcoal Gray.

When the Honda Spacy was introduced in Vietnam, it stood out among the sea of underbone motorcycles such as the Suzuki Viva 110, Honda Dream, Cub, and 82. It even earned the nickname “spaceship” from the locals.

There were times when the scooter created a frenzy, with owners hoarding and increasing prices, and prospective buyers scrambling to get their hands on one before prices rose further or even to make a profit.

Today, the pricing of this scooter is considered “unrealistic” by some enthusiasts, with values ranging from a few dozen to hundreds of millions of dong, and one particular model even reaching a staggering 600 million dong.

These exorbitant prices are fueled by word-of-mouth praise for the scooter’s durability, fuel efficiency, and incredible resale value.

Notably, private motorcycle dealers are gearing up to import the Spacy 125 2024, following the footsteps of other popular scooter models such as the Honda Click 150, Honda ADV 150, and Yamaha Lexi.

This indicates that the Honda Spacy 125 2024 may soon make a comeback in the Vietnamese market to cater to the demands of local consumers.
