Companies Finalizing Dividend Payouts for the Week of 05/27/2024 – 05/31/2024
|
VNX stands out in the upcoming dividend shower with a rate of 150%, the highest ever. In fact, VNX has consistently paid high dividends in recent years, ranging from 50-60% (except for 2021 when it paid out 10%). However, the number of circulating shares is not significant, just over 1.2 million. With this number of shares, the company needs to spend approximately VND 18 billion on dividends. The ex-dividend date is May 30, and the expected payment date is June 19, 2024.
VNX’s three largest shareholders are General Director Nguyen Khac Luan (13.48%), Chairman of the Board Pham Quynh Giang (12.32%), and Board member Dinh Van Khai (12.04%), who will receive corresponding amounts of VND 2.4 billion, over VND 2.2 billion, and nearly VND 2.2 billion, respectively.
The second notable name is HLB, finalizing a 2023 dividend payout with a rate of 90% (VND 9,000 per share). With 3.09 million circulating shares, the company is estimated to spend around VND 28 billion. The ex-dividend date is May 28, and the expected payment date is June 20, 2024.
Most of the dividends will go to the family of former Chairman of the Board Doan Van Quang. Currently, Mr. Quang’s family holds nearly 58% of HLB‘s shares, valued at up to VND 443 billion on the market. With this percentage, the former chairman’s family will receive more than VND 16 billion.
From 2014 to the present, HLB has consistently paid cash dividends to its shareholders, with rates far surpassing the market average. The peak was in 2018, when the company paid out a whopping 200%, and most recently, the rate was 150% in 2022.
Although not as high as the above two companies, PMC is also notable for finalizing a dividend payout with a rate of 41% next week (VND 4,100 per share). With more than 9.3 million circulating shares, PMC is estimated to spend over VND 38 billion on the remaining 2023 dividend payout. The ex-dividend date is May 27, and the expected payment date is June 17, 2024.
In the upcoming week, there are no companies finalizing share dividend payouts.
