Hyundai Accent 2024: Four Variants, Expected Price of VND 559 Million for the Highest Trim, Comparable to the Lowest-Priced Honda City Trim

Hyundai Accent 2024 Now Accepting Deposits

Select dealerships in the Ho Chi Minh City area have announced that they are now accepting deposits for the new generation Hyundai Accent. According to consultants, this B-segment sedan will continue to be offered in four variants: MT Standard, MT, AT, and AT Special.

Among these, the estimated price for the MT version is 499 million VND, the AT version is 520 million VND, and the AT Special version is 559 million VND. The price for the MT Standard version has not yet been revealed.

If these figures are accurate, the 2024 Hyundai Accent will be priced higher than the current model. Specifically, the MT version is 27 million VND more expensive, the AT version is 19 million VND more, and the AT Special version is 17 million VND more. Moreover, when compared to its direct competitor, the Vios (listed price of 458 – 545 million VND), the Accent has lost its price advantage. However, if compared to the City, the highest estimated price of the Korean car is only equivalent to the standard version of its competitor.

Previously, TC Motor had also announced the launch date of the new generation Hyundai Accent on May 30.

Hyundai Accent 2024 Spotted on the Roads

In recent days, images of a new generation Hyundai Accent with no camouflage have been continuously spotted and shared on social media as it was driven on the streets of Hanoi.

From the captured images, it can be seen that the exterior of the new generation Hyundai Accent to be sold in Vietnam is identical to the version currently distributed in the Indian market.

What’s New in the Hyundai Accent 2024?

The 2024 Accent is larger than its predecessor. Its dimensions are 4,535 x 1,765 x 1,475 mm in length, width, and height, respectively. The wheelbase is 2,670 mm, which is comparable to C-segment vehicles.

The front of the 2024 Accent also features a new design with a long, horizontal LED daytime running light strip. The large grille is connected to the low-positioned LED headlights. The new-style LED taillights stretch across the rear, reminiscent of the Elantra model. The car is fitted with 16-inch, 5-spoke alloy wheels.

The interior of the 2024 Hyundai Accent looks luxurious, featuring a pair of large 10.25-inch screens that appear to float above the dashboard. The steering wheel has been changed from a 3-spoke to a 2-spoke design. The central control cluster is elegantly covered in glass. The car features a 64-color ambient lighting system that can be customized to the driver’s preference.

Other notable convenience features include wireless phone charging, electronic parking brake (available only on the highest trim), and rear sunshades, typically found in luxury vehicles. The seats are equipped with heating, cooling, and ventilation functions.

The car offers two engine options. The standard engine is a 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine that produces 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or IVT automatic transmission. The turbocharged 1.5L engine generates 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque and is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The SmartSense technology package, which includes level 2 autonomous driving capabilities, is a notable safety feature on the 2024 Accent in international markets. Some noteworthy functions in this technology package include forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and driver attention warning. This model now comes standard with six airbags.
