The Grand Opening of GoodWe’s Manufacturing Facility in Vietnam

The opening of the third manufacturing base in GoodWe’s production network is a significant event, now providing tailored, high-quality products to a global market.

The inauguration, which took place on March 11, 2024, marked the establishment of GoodWe Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. and the commencement of the factory’s production. The event was honored to host esteemed guests, including leaders from the Deep C Industrial Zone and BW Industrial Development JSC, along with GoodWe’s valued partners and customers. The Founder and CEO of GoodWe, Mr. Daniel Huang, also attended this momentous occasion, joining the senior leadership team from headquarters.

Spanning approximately 14,800 square meters, the factory is currently planned to specialize in manufacturing grid-tied and hybrid inverters for export to the North American market and key Asian markets.

“The establishment of this base marks a significant milestone for GoodWe, demonstrating our strong commitment to the global photovoltaic development, especially in the Asian markets, which I believe will become the greatest source of inspiration and momentum for the global renewable energy transition,” shared James Hou, GoodWe APAC Sales Head.

Xianfeng Li, General Director of GoodWe Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd., expressed gratitude for the collective efforts of the GoodWe team, customers, and partners in achieving this milestone. He emphasized, “Customers from various markets are eagerly anticipating the first products from the GoodWe Vietnam factory. Therefore, we have been working tirelessly to get the factory into production as soon as possible. Moreover, we always devote ourselves to listening to market demands to provide high-quality products and perfect services to every customer.”

By setting up a production base in Vietnam, GoodWe expects to enhance its price competitiveness in the global market. Furthermore, this factory will help improve GoodWe’s services and ensure the timely supply of high-quality products that cater to the diverse needs of its many customers for residential, commercial, industrial, and large-scale solar power plant applications.

GoodWe’s new factory in Vietnam

The factory’s design leverages GoodWe’s over-decade-long expertise in inverter manufacturing, fully integrating advanced inverter production technology and implementing stringent quality control systems. A range of smart manufacturing techniques, including quality traceability and digital monitoring, have been incorporated to ensure product quality and excellence.

Mr. Daniel Huang stated, “Our team has actively prepared this factory to serve as a standard for our future overseas manufacturing bases. The positive impact of this special event will bring GoodWe’s innovative thinking and technology to the Vietnamese labor market, helping to train more high-quality personnel for the further development of high-tech engineering.”

He further shared that this move demonstrates GoodWe’s commitment to solidifying its global brand image. “With the opening of our factory in Vietnam, we aim to expand collaboration opportunities with customers across key markets such as the United States, ASEAN countries, and beyond,” he added.
