In 2018, the Thanh Hoa People’s Committee approved the construction of the APG – Co Dinh Plaza, a commercial center, and event organization project. Saigon Anh Phuong Joint Stock Company was the investor, with a total investment of VND 250 billion.

The project was designed to cover an area of 29,000 square meters and include a range of facilities: two 9-story 4-star hotels, a 5-story event center, a 3-story office building, five outdoor VIP dining areas, an outdoor swimming pool, and a 5-story commercial center.

The project was expected to become a hub for short-term accommodation, culinary experiences, event organization, and high-quality consumer products and goods for the regional market. It was also anticipated to create jobs and contribute to the local economy.

According to the initial schedule, construction was set to begin in the first quarter of 2019 and be completed by the first quarter of 2022. However, years passed, and the investor was unable to finish the project. As a result, only a few construction items were left unfinished and abandoned.

Recently, Le Duc Giang, Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa People’s Committee, signed a decision to revoke the investment license for the APG – Co Dinh Plaza project in Nua town, Trieu Son district, from Saigon Anh Phuong Joint Stock Company. The company failed to fulfill its obligations to the state and did not comply after being administratively fined.

The investor has constructed several foundations, outdoor dining areas, and an unfinished 3-story building.
