In the June 2024 issue of International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine, Trungnam SMC (Southern Machinery Corporation, a member of Trung Nam Group) is proud to announce its debut appearance at number 24 in the ranking of the Top 100 companies owning the largest cranes in the world for 2024. Trungnam SMC is the only Vietnamese company to be featured in this year’s prestigious list.

The IC100 Cranes ranking is a renowned global list organized and evaluated annually by KHL Group for companies owning lifting cranes worldwide. The ranking is based on crane equipment capacity indicators, with two main groups: crawler crane equipment and tire crane equipment.

In addition, Trungnam SMC owns a modern and extensive fleet of super-heavy transport equipment, including 60 Scheuerle SPMT axles with a capacity of 48 tons per axle, 100 Goldhofer hydraulic trailers, over 30 trailers for transporting wind turbine blades, various tractor heads with pulling capacities up to 250 tons, a range of barges for wind farm installation and transportation with capacities from 8,000 tons to 14,000 tons, tugboats with horsepower ranging from 1,400 Hp to 6,000 Hp, and other specialized vehicles. This diverse fleet ensures the company can meet all super-heavy transport requirements for energy projects and other heavy industries.
Earlier in 2023, Trungnam SMC was also honored to be included in the “Top 50 Heavy Transport Companies in the World” ranking, another prestigious global list organized by KHL Group and published in International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine.
