Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tan Phuc – Vong Phan road project in Hung Yen province. This strategic infrastructure project is expected to boost the local economy and improve transportation in the region.

The road, with a total length of 29.2 km, will serve as the third “backbone” of Hung Yen province, connecting the Hanoi – Haiphong highway with National Highway 38B and National Highway 38. With a total investment of VND 2,986.8 billion from the local budget, the project includes essential land clearance, construction, and management costs.

The road will pass through 14 communes in three challenging districts of Hung Yen: An Thi, Tien Lu, and Phu Cu. Its construction is expected to break the transportation monopoly in these areas, facilitating the movement of goods and people, and promoting industrial and urban development along the route.

Addressing the ceremony, the Prime Minister urged Hung Yen province to expedite land clearance and resettlement, ensuring that the contractor can proceed with construction without delays. He also emphasized the importance of efficient project management and timely completion, encouraging the contractor to work diligently to finish the project by September 2025.

In addition to calculating land use adjustments, Binh Duong province is planning to acquire additional land to build two rest stops along the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4. The project has a total investment capital of over 18,000 billion VND for the section passing through Binh Duong province.
