During the talks, President To Lam announced a gift of 20 VinFast electric vehicles from the Party, State, and people of Vietnam to the Party, State, and people of Laos. These vehicles will support Laos in successfully organizing important activities during its ASEAN Chairmanship in 2024.
Immediately after the talks, President To Lam performed the symbolic handover of the keys of 20 VinFast electric vehicles to the General Secretary and President of Laos.
