Last week, Honda officially introduced the 2024 update for its ADV 160 scooter in the Malaysian market. The new model is offered in two new colors: black gray and black white, and is priced at 13,249 RM (approximately 66 million VND), a 250 RM increase compared to the 2023 version.

Shortly after, the first units of the 2024 Honda ADV 160 arrived at dealerships in Malaysia, ready to meet the demands of eager consumers.

The Honda ADV 160 boasts impressive dimensions, with a length of 1,950 mm, a width of 763 mm, and a height of 1,196 mm. Its wheelbase spans 1,324 mm, and it offers a respectable ground clearance of 165 mm. The ADV 160 also features a spacious 30-liter storage compartment, a 2-liter improvement over the Honda ADV 150.

According to the manufacturer’s specifications, this Honda scooter is equipped with 14-inch cast wheels on the front and 13-inch wheels on the rear, paired with tubeless tires.

The ADV 160 comes loaded with features, including a power-adjustable windshield, a digital instrument cluster that displays comprehensive vehicle information, a Smart Key system for keyless ignition, LED lighting all around, and a USB port for charging mobile devices, conveniently located in the front storage compartment.

Under the seat is a 156.9cc liquid-cooled eSP+ single-cylinder engine, paired with Honda’s PGM-Fi electronic fuel injection system. This powerplant generates a maximum output of 15.82 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, delivered to the wheels via a CVT transmission and belt drive.

One of the standout features of the 2024 Honda ADV160 is its Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system, which allows riders to activate or deactivate traction control according to their preferences and riding conditions.

Braking duties are handled by hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, complemented by a standard anti-lock braking system (ABS) for added safety. The front suspension comprises telescopic forks, while the rear features adjustable dual-tube shocks.

In Vietnam, the Honda ADV 160 was introduced through private dealerships starting in August 2022. Depending on the dealership, prices can reach up to 90-95 million VND.
