This week, a total of 12 companies distributed cash dividends, with rates ranging from a substantial 24% to a more modest 3%.

According to statistics, 17 companies announced dividend lock-in during the week of July 29–August 1. Of these, 12 companies paid cash dividends this week, with the highest rate being 24% and the lowest 3%. In addition, this week, four companies paid stock dividends, and one company paid a combination of cash and stock dividends.

On August 2, International Food Joint Stock Company – Interfood (code: IFS) will finalize the list of shareholders registered to receive 2023 dividends in cash at a rate of 24% (1 share will receive VND 2,400). The expected payment date is September 9.

With more than 87 million shares in circulation, Interfood is expected to spend nearly VND 210 billion on this dividend. Most of the dividends will go to foreign shareholder Kirin Holdings Singapore Pte. Ltd, which currently owns nearly 96% of Interfood.

On August 1, Tâm Đức Heart Hospital Joint Stock Company (code: TTD) will finalize the list of shareholders to receive the first installment of 2024 dividends in cash at a rate of 10% in cash (corresponding to each shareholding shareholder receiving VND 1,000). With nearly 15.6 million shares in circulation, Tim Tâm Đức is expected to spend VND 15.6 billion on this dividend. The expected payment date is August 16, 2024.

Previously, in mid-May, the company paid the remaining 2023 dividend at a rate of 13%, thus completing the dividend plan as scheduled with a total rate of 33%. This year, the company also plans to distribute dividends at a rate of 33%.

On August 2, Bamboo Capital Joint Stock Company (BCG – HoSE floor) will finalize the list of shareholders for equity issuance to increase charter capital from equity capital. Accordingly, the Company plans to issue more than 80 million bonus shares at a ratio of 100:10, meaning that for every 100 shares held, shareholders will receive 10 new shares. Any fractional shares arising (if any) will be canceled. The issuance source is from the surplus capital account based on the audited separate financial statements for 2023, equivalent to nearly VND 867 billion.

Previously, in June 2024, Bamboo Capital successfully issued 266.7 million shares to existing shareholders at a price of VND 10,000/share, equivalent to a successful issuance ratio of 99.99%. After this issuance, the Company raised about VND 2,667 billion and increased its charter capital to VND 8,001 billion.

VIX Securities Joint Stock Company (code: VIX) announced that August 1 will be the record date for the payment of combined dividends.

Specifically, the company plans to issue 66.9 million shares to pay 2023 dividends at a rate of 10%. The issuance source is from undistributed profits accumulated up to December 31, 2023. At the same time, VIX will also issue 66.9 million bonus shares from the capital surplus source, at a ratio of 10%.
