According to Bao Long An, the construction of the Dong Nam Asia Industrial Park (phase 2) has been delayed due to the slow progress of the investor in carrying out compensation, land retrieval, and resettlement support.

In addition to the investor’s internal issues, the project was also held back by the Prime Minister’s pending approval for the conversion of rice cultivation land, which is essential for initiating land retrieval, compensation, and resettlement processes. This delay has had a significant impact on the lives of residents in the project area.

Established in 2012, Long An Industrial Park Joint Stock Company is a subsidiary of Dong Tam Group, chaired by Mr. Vo Quoc Thang. With over 50 years of experience, Dong Tam Group has a diverse portfolio in Long An, including construction materials, real estate, industrial parks, seaports, finance, and education.

In addition to the Dong Nam Asia Industrial Park, Dong Tam Group is also developing the Thuan Dao Industrial Park, spanning 765 hectares, in the center of Ben Luc town, Ben Luc district.
