As of late July 2024, Hyundai dealers are offering significant discounts on the 2023 Santa Fe SUV to clear inventory and make way for the upcoming new model.
At this time, the discounts offered on the Hyundai Santa Fe at dealerships range from VND 35-55 million, depending on the dealership and the version. Notably, to expedite inventory clearance, some dealerships are also offering complimentary accessories to car buyers.
However, dealerships also note that inventory levels are limited, and each dealership may have a scattered selection of versions. Therefore, prospective buyers are advised to inquire thoroughly before making a purchase.
Earlier in mid-June 2024, Hyundai Thanh Cong announced new retail prices for the Hyundai Santa Fe, with discounts ranging from several dozen to VND 100 million.
Specifically, the 2.5 Gasoline Standard, 2.5 Gasoline Premium, 2.2 Diesel Standard, and 2.2 Diesel Premium versions were reduced by VND 50 million, with new retail prices of VND 979 million, VND 1.16 billion, VND 1.07 billion, and VND 1.219 billion, respectively. The highest discount of VND 100 million was applied to the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, bringing its price down to VND 1.269 billion.
After the adjustment, the starting price of this D-segment SUV is now below VND 1 billion, making it one of the most affordable options in its class.
The fifth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe, which debuted globally in August 2023, features a comprehensive redesign.
The vehicle’s dimensions are 4,830 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,720 mm in height, making it 46 mm longer and 35 mm taller than its predecessor. Its wheelbase has also been extended by 48 mm to 2,815 mm.
The exterior design of the Santa Fe emphasizes masculinity and elegance with bold, angular lines. The distinctive “H” shape is featured in various elements, including the front and rear lighting systems and the front bumper. The radiator grille and central air intake are also rectangular, giving the front end a broader appearance.
Inside, the steering wheel design is reminiscent of the Range Rover, and the gear selector has been moved to a stalk behind the wheel, while the dashboard features a horizontal layout that integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. Below is a 6.6-inch touchscreen that controls the climate system and other functions.
In global markets, the new Hyundai Santa Fe has discontinued the diesel engine option, offering only gasoline and hybrid powertrains. However, in the Vietnamese market, the exact specifications remain unknown.
Recently, dealerships have started taking reservations for the new Santa Fe, even though the official pricing has not yet been announced. According to sales consultants, the new Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to be launched in September or October 2024.
