At the meeting, Mr. Stefan Grosch shared that his visit to Vietnam is part of the Group’s effort to study and understand the Southeast Asian market better to offer more suitable products for the region in the future.
On behalf of the Group’s leadership, Mr. Grosch expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided by the Vietnamese government during their 30 years of investment in the country, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bosch has been investing in various sectors, including construction, industry, automotive and motorcycle parts, agriculture, etc., employing 6,200 people, 4,000 of whom work in software.
Mr. Grosch revealed that Bosch plans to increase the number of software engineers to 6,000 by 2025 to expand its software development capabilities in Vietnam. He sought the Vietnamese government’s support for this endeavor.
The Group also expressed its desire to collaborate with Vietnam in training high-quality human resources, especially in Industry 4.0, and offered to provide smart traffic safety management solutions for the country.
The CEO of Bosch for India and Southeast Asia affirmed that one of the Group’s steadfast values is compliance with the laws of the host countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister commended Bosch for its early investment decision in Vietnam, offering high-quality products that have become leading brands in the Vietnamese and global markets.
He appreciated Bosch’s compliance with Vietnamese laws, considering it an important prerequisite for mutual understanding, sharing, and beneficial cooperation.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam is working to improve its legal system to keep up with global development trends. The government is focusing on creating mechanisms and policies to encourage and attract investment projects in high technology, new technology, especially chip manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and software development.
He assured that the Vietnamese government would always create favorable conditions for German businesses, including Bosch, to feel confident in investing and doing business in the long term in Vietnam, thus further deepening the good development of the Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership.
