According to a report by GfK, Samsung maintained its leading position in the Vietnamese TV market in 2023, capturing a 46.3% market share. In the large-screen segment, the brand demonstrated even greater dominance, accounting for 58.9% of the 75-inch TV market, 73.8% of the over-85-inch market, and an impressive 89.68% of the over-90-inch market share.

To reinforce its market leadership, Samsung introduced a new generation of AI TVs at the beginning of 2024, featuring a host of innovations that mark the dawn of the AI TV era.

A survey conducted by the South Korean giant revealed that Vietnamese users prioritize three key aspects in their TV experience: high-quality content enjoyment (70%), advanced technology and features (65%), and immersive entertainment (72%). Samsung’s AI enhancements are strategically focused on these areas.

AI-Enhanced Picture and Audio

Samsung’s premium TV lines, including Neo QLED 8K/4K and QLED, are equipped with advanced AI processors: the NQ8 AI (3rd Gen) and NQ4 AI (2nd Gen). The NQ8 AI (3rd Gen) processor boasts an impressive 8-fold increase in neural network capacity (from 64 to 512) and twice the NPU processing speed compared to its predecessor. This enables the TV to automatically enhance low-resolution content to a higher quality, delivering sharper images through AI Upscaling and AI Motion Enhancer Pro.

In terms of audio, the AI-powered Active Voice Amplifier Pro technology excels at separating dialogue from background noise, while Adaptive Sound Pro intelligently adjusts the audio according to the content and ambient sound in the room.

AI Energy Savings

The AI Energy mode leverages integrated processors and sensors to analyze the surrounding environment, automatically adjusting screen brightness based on changes in ambient light, dimming the screen when the user temporarily leaves the room, and fine-tuning brightness according to the content. These AI-driven optimizations can reduce power consumption by up to 30%.

Samsung TVs continue to impress with their elegant designs, such as the NEO QLED 8K’s Infinity One design language, featuring a bezel-less screen and a mirror stand that creates a floating effect. The TVs also offer a comprehensive entertainment hub with popular apps like VieON, FPT Play, Galaxy Play, and TV360, along with the renowned Knox security solution and SmartThings, which transforms the TV into a central command for smart home devices.

Samsung is currently offering attractive promotions for purchasers of its AI TV models, including gifts such as the Galaxy S24 smartphone and S700D soundbar, 0% installment plans, and entertainment app packages.
