The Great Fuel Price Drop: A Mid-Afternoon Treat

Today's fuel price adjustment (August 1st) saw a decrease in domestic gasoline prices, ranging from 280 to 290 VND per liter.

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have just announced their decision on gasoline and oil prices starting from 15:00, August 1st.

Accordingly, the two ministries decided to decrease the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline by VND 290 per liter to VND 21,610 per liter, and that of RON 95 by VND 280 per liter to VND 22,600 per liter. Thus, since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 14 times.

Similarly, the price of diesel oil was reduced by VND 320 per liter to VND 19,870 per liter, while that of kerosene decreased by VND 230 per liter to VND 20,090 per liter, and mazut to VND 16,880 per kg.

In this adjustment, the two ministries did not use the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil products.

In the latest adjustment on July 25th, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND 270 per liter to VND 21,900 per liter, while that of RON 95 decreased by VND 290 per liter to VND 22,880 per liter. The price of diesel oil was also reduced by VND 310 per liter to VND 20,190 per liter.
