
VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, recently revealed details about its high-voltage battery prices and repair cost schedule. The new pricing will take effect on August 1, 2024, and apply to all VinFast models available in the Vietnamese market.
VinFast considers this a significant step in ensuring customers have a clear understanding of the costs associated with owning and maintaining their vehicles, thereby fostering confidence and trust in the brand.
Specifically, the VinFast VF 3 and VF 5 models utilize Gotion batteries priced at 75 million VND and 80 million VND, respectively (including VAT). Meanwhile, the VF 6 and VF 7 models share the VinES battery, priced at 90 million VND and 149 million VND, respectively. The VinFast VF 9 boasts the most expensive battery options, with the SDI battery priced at 500 million VND and the CATL battery at 528 million VND.

At present, the VinFast VF 3 is garnering significant attention from customers as deliveries officially commence on August 1. The VF 3’s price with a battery rental option is 240 million VND, while the price with battery included is 322 million VND.
VinFast offers three battery rental packages for customers to choose from. The first package costs 900,000 VND per month and is valid for distances under 1,500 km. The second package is priced at 1.2 million VND per month for distances between 1,500 km and 2,500 km. Lastly, the third package costs 2 million VND per month for distances exceeding 2,500 km.

The VinFast VF 3 comes with a generous 7-year or 160,000 km warranty (whichever comes first), while the high-voltage battery is warranted for 8 years with unlimited mileage.
Despite being the most affordable option on the market, the VF 3 boasts an impressive range of up to 210 km on a single charge, and its battery can be charged up to 70% in just 30 minutes.
Previously, VinFast introduced new battery options for its VF8 and VF9 electric vehicle models and adjusted the pricing for both its electric vehicles and battery rental plans.
