Anchor Food Professionals (Fonterra Brands Vietnam) presents an online competition, “Whip Up Your Talent,” in July and August, offering Vietnamese chefs and bakers a chance to showcase their creativity and explore new culinary horizons.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their unique culinary creations in either the hot kitchen or pastry categories, with Anchor’s new multi-purpose cream, Anchor Cream Alternative, as the main ingredient. The winner of this competition will be rewarded with a trip to Singapore to attend the Worldchefs Congress 2024, a prestigious event held once every two years for global chefs and bakers.

A Creative Challenge: Blending Structure and Freedom

The competition, “Whip Up Your Talent,” presents a unique challenge with two important considerations: choosing between the hot kitchen and pastry categories and the mandatory use of Anchor Cream Alternative, along with other Anchor dairy products. This “half-closed, half-open” theme allows contestants to freely express their creativity while adhering to the given structure.

For the hot kitchen category, the organizers suggest exploring the traditional cuisine trend, which has been making a strong comeback lately. This trend celebrates the cultural values, history, customs, and soul of Vietnam. Contestants can put a modern twist on traditional dishes using Anchor Cream Alternative, such as creamy beef stew and fragrant buttery chicken curry. Similarly, for the pastry category, contestants are encouraged to create a dessert, a filled bread, or an entremet cake.
