Asia Slipform Joint Stock Company, represented by Mr. Ho Dai Minh, was established in 2007. It is a well-known company specializing in the design and construction of various industrial, port, and transportation projects across Vietnam.

Headquartered in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City, Asia Slipform also has a branch office in the Diamond Flower building, Hoang Dao Thuy street, Nhan Chinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi.

According to the company’s website, Asia Slipform has been involved in numerous large-scale projects in many provinces. Notable projects include the Hon Thom Phu Quoc cable car pillar, the Queen cable car pillar of Ha Long Ocean Park project, Vinh Tan 4 Power Plant in Binh Thuan, Xuan Thanh Cement Plant in Ha Nam, and three animal feed mills of CP Company in Hai Duong, Binh Dinh, and Binh Duong provinces.

In addition, they have worked on projects such as the Nikko Saigon Hotel, Thang Long Cement Grinding Station, and the preliminary design and technology for Proconco’s animal feed processing plant.

The Hon Thom Phu Quoc cable car pillar is a prominent part of the world’s longest cable car system (nearly 7,900m, connecting from An Thoi town through Hon Roi, Hon Dua to Hon Thom island). The system includes 2 stations and 6 cable pillars, with the tallest pillar T4 reaching a height of 174m.

The Queen cable car pillar, a part of the Ha Long Ocean Park project (commenced in 2014), is also a massive structure, setting a Guinness World Record. It holds the record for the tallest cable pillar in the world, with the first pillar standing at 188.88 meters. This cable car system is the first of its kind in Ha Long Bay, connecting Bai Chay beach to the top of Ba Deo mountain in Quang Ninh province.

Asia Slipform also specializes in executing projects such as warehouses, feed mills for livestock, poultry, and aquatic products that meet American and European standards; designing port bridges for vessels ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 tons; constructing slip-formed silos, chimneys, complex concrete structures, bridge pillars, and walls, among others.

The company’s leadership includes Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan (Member of the Board of Directors and Director), Mr. Ho Sy Hiep (Member of the Board of Directors), and Mr. Ngo Minh Duc (Deputy Director), among others.

According to the Ministry of Public Security’s Investigation Security Agency, former Vice Chairman of Phu Tho People’s Committee, Mr. Ho Dai Dung (born in 1972), was temporarily detained on July 29th for gambling-related activities. At the time of his arrest, Mr. Dung was an employee of Company A.S., as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper.

On July 19th, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No. 697 approving the dismissal of Mr. Ho Dai Dung from his position as Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Prior to this, Mr. Ho Dai Dung had also requested to step down from his leadership and management positions in the province, including Member of the Provincial Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term, due to personal reasons.

The Phu Tho Provincial People’s Council also dismissed Mr. Dung from his role as a representative of the Provincial People’s Council.

Mr. Ho Dai Dung, a native of Nam Giang, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, holds a Master’s degree in Economics. Before becoming the Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho People’s Committee in November 2018, he served as the Director of the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment.
