HMD Global, the company that owns the Nokia brand, officially discontinued its line of Nokia-branded smartphones in February 2024.
Following HMD’s announcement, Nokia smartphones became increasingly scarce in Vietnam. Retailers now primarily offer the classic Nokia ‘brick’ phones with physical keyboards. The Nokia C32 is a rare exception – a touchscreen Nokia phone that is still available brand new in the country.
According to some mobile device trading sites, the Nokia C32 is currently available at an extremely attractive price of just VND 2.39 million for the 4GB/128GB variant.
The Nokia C32 offers a premium design and features typically found in higher-end smartphones, all at an affordable price.
While other brands in the sub-VND 3 million range feature plastic bodies to optimize costs, the Nokia C32 boasts a glass back.
The Nokia C32 features a 6.52-inch LCD display with slightly curved glass and an HD+ resolution. The device uses an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels.
Under the hood, the Nokia C32 packs a UNISOC SC9863A chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can also expand storage via a microSD card. This is a significant advantage over competitors in the same price range, as they typically offer only 64GB of internal storage, half of what the Nokia C32 offers.
In the camera department, the Nokia C32 features a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera. For its price range, the camera system is quite impressive, offering features such as portrait mode, night mode, and automatic HDR.
The Nokia C32 also boasts a large 5,000mAh battery, which is quite impressive for its price. The device supports 10W charging.
