On September 16, 2024, the 2G network will officially discontinue serving subscribers using 2G-only mobile phones. This marks the first step in the roadmap to halt 2G technology as announced by the Ministry of Information and Communications on July 5, 2024.
Understanding the market demand, FPT Shop has launched a program to support the collection of old 2G phones and offer discounts of up to VND 600,000 on new 4G devices, along with other attractive promotions.
In addition, during August, FPT Shop introduced a range of affordable smartphones priced below VND 3 million to cater to customers transitioning to 4G devices. Some examples include the ZTE A35 at VND 1.79 million, Tecno Spark Go at VND 1.89 million, Samsung Galaxy A05 at VND 2.49 million, Oppo A18 at VND 2.69 million, and Vivo Y03 at VND 2.69 million, among others.

Furthermore, during August, FPT Shop is offering customers the exclusive benefit of purchasing FPT 4G SIM cards with 4G phones at a discounted price starting from only VND 49,000. Customers who subscribe to a 6-month package will receive an additional free month of use, while those opting for a 12-month package will enjoy an even more attractive offer with two free months of usage.
