Urban – Park – New Provincial Administrative Center Perspective

The area for the detailed planning project at a ratio of 1/2000 for the Urban – Park – New Administrative Center covers more than 654 hectares in Vinh Thai and Phuoc Dong wards (Nha Trang City).

The newly adjusted plan will focus on three spatial development strategies. Firstly, it aims to establish an iconic administrative center. Secondly, it will create a green urban connection with six islands surrounded by a water system. Thirdly, it will enhance the value of the riverfront, improve water connectivity, and emphasize the importance of the Quan Truong River frontage.

The new planning adjustment consists of six islands, interconnected by a transportation system of roads and bridges with North-South and East-West axes. The land use plan for the Urban – Park – New Administrative Center includes: over 399 hectares of construction land, accounting for 61% of the planning area, and over 255 hectares of other land, making up nearly 39% of the planning area. Notably, this area will feature the development of ecological mangrove parks, children’s amusement parks, public sports areas, and community spaces.
