The IR Awards, established in 2011, aims to create a meaningful platform to raise awareness of the role and importance of investor relations activities. By doing so, it contributes to improving transparency in the stock market, encouraging higher-quality disclosures, and ultimately strengthening investor confidence in Vietnam’s capital market.

During the IR Awards selection process, individual investors are invited to cast their votes online for the Top 3 Companies with the Best IR Practices in 2024. This is based on their satisfaction with the investor relations (IR) activities of listed companies nominated for the IR Awards across the following criteria:

  1. Transparency: The company demonstrates transparency by providing accurate, reliable, and valuable periodic and ad-hoc information, enabling investors to make informed investment decisions while ensuring equal access to information for all shareholders.
  2. Effective IR Communication: The company effectively communicates with the masses, creating a strong brand presence in the stock market. Investors can easily access the necessary information from financial media outlets and the company’s website.
  3. Governance: The Board of Directors, Supervisory Board, and Executive Management work efficiently to ensure shareholder rights, equal treatment of shareholders, and transparent disclosure of related interests, free from personal gain.

In 2024, the Program is honored to have the participation of nearly 40 financial institutions, including reputable securities companies and fund management companies operating in Vietnam’s stock market.

Through these two voting categories in the final round, the Program aims to honor the Top 3 Companies with the Best IR Practices in 2024 (IR Best Practice Awards) at the IR Awards 2024 Ceremony. These are the companies that excel in effective financial communication, building a solid reputation in the capital market, and managing market expectations.

The program annually evaluates the IR activities of listed companies through comprehensive surveys of information disclosure in the stock market, online voting for investors, and professional assessments from financial institutions.
