The Grand Opening of Lindo’s Restaurant in Angola: Serving Signature Vietnamese Dishes to a Flood of Eager Customers, Predicting Imminent Success

Lindo, a familiar face among the African members of the Quang Linh Vlogs team, has captured the hearts of many with his fluency in Vietnamese and his curiosity for Vietnamese cuisine. But it’s his intelligence and hard work that have truly made him a beloved figure. The latest testament to this is the lunch restaurant he and his wife have recently opened in Angola.

The couple’s new eatery, located in a bustling market, has been open for about a week now and has already seen great success. With just 2-3 tables, the restaurant has been bustling with customers, some even waiting in line to take their food home. Lindo’s menu features both Angolan and Vietnamese dishes, the latter of which has received particularly positive feedback from patrons.

Typically, the restaurant offers three dishes per day, with prices starting at 400kz (approximately 11,000 VND). In their latest video posted on August 9th, a meal included corn flour/rice, Vietnamese-style fish in tomato sauce, and stir-fried vegetables with onions. Lindo also has a sugarcane juice stand in front of the restaurant, which has been attracting more and more customers. Each cup of juice is sold for 150kz (around 4,200 VND).

In the same video, Lindo and his wife are seen working tirelessly to keep up with the demand, selling out of food in just an hour and a half.

Netizens have expressed their surprise and admiration for Lindo’s entrepreneurial spirit, with many commenting on his intelligence and ability to seize opportunities. They attribute his success to his collaboration with Quang Linh and the rest of the African team, predicting even greater achievements in the future.

These praises are a testament to Lindo’s previous endeavors, as many netizens fondly remember him as the “Vietnamese food warrior.” He gained this nickname due to his impressive skills in preparing various Vietnamese dishes, from black bean dessert to grilled pork patties, spring rolls, and even bread and instant noodles with eggs. Lindo would sell these dishes in the market, always attracting a large crowd of customers.

Born in 1997, Manuel Arlindo, or Lindo, was one of the first members to join the African team. Known for his honesty, diligence, and intelligence, he quickly earned the trust and support of Quang Linh.

Lindo’s life has changed significantly since working with Quang Linh and the African team. He was the first team member to receive assistance from Quang Linh in purchasing land and building a house. In 2023, Lindo accompanied Quang Linh on a trip to Vietnam, where they explored the country together. Lindo now has his own YouTube channel with almost 630k subscribers.
