The Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa has received reports from the People’s Committee of Nha Trang regarding the implementation of inspection conclusions on the management of the construction of detached houses with multiple floors (5 floors or more) in Loc Tho, Tan Lap, and Vinh Hoa wards.

Following the inspection conclusions of the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction, the People’s Committee of Nha Trang has issued administrative sanctions against 25 owners of constructions that violated their building permits by building additional floors. Specifically, there were 10 violations in Loc Tho ward, 6 in Tan Lap ward, and 9 in Vinh Hoa ward. The Nha Trang Department of Urban Management is currently finalizing legal procedures for these 25 violating constructions to develop a plan for forced demolition in accordance with regulations.

According to the conclusion of the inspection team from the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction, cases of constructions that violated their building permits or lacked permits altogether have been fined but the forced demolition has not been carried out yet. Many cases were found to have violated their permits but had not been penalized by the time of the inspection. Specifically, there were 12 constructions in Loc Tho ward, 6 in Tan Lap ward, and 9 in Vinh Hoa ward that deviated from their permitted designs.

Among these, several cases exhibited significant deviations from their permitted designs, including: the construction at 11/4E Nguyen Thien Thuat Street (Loc Tho ward) with 2 additional floors; the construction at Lot 15, Tran Quang Khai Alley (Loc Tho ward) with 3 additional floors; and the construction at 66/2 Tran Phu Street (Loc Tho ward) with 5 additional floors.
